The way points of this bicycle route:

Christmas Common

Head off down a broad bridleway

Turn right at a cross tracks and though a gate to follow the field edge

Lovely long downhill through the woods

Right in the clearing and several ups and downs, but mainly climbing

Right on the road and a long climb

Left and left at the top of the hill

Back off road again

Look for the bridleway sign here (if I recall correctly)

Join the ridgeway

Turn right off the ridgeway

At the end of the track the path goes up a grassy slope and then a narrow climb, very steep and loose at one point

Short run back along the road to the start
