The way points of this bicycle route:
Through the residential & school area, 2 stop lights before getting to Almaden Expwy
Fast & flat on the expressway, watch for debris in the bike lane
End of the residential area before going rural
Series of very small rollers past the open acreage, very scenic
Steady incline to the Calero reservior entrance
Almaden Valley
Fast downhill until Cinnabar golf Course
Flat to small rollers back along teh open fields
Short incline followed by a fast sweeping downhill
Almaden Valley
Slight incline back towards Cinnabar golf course
Morgan Hill
Very scenic area, fairly flat w/small rolling hills. Road name changes to Uvas Rd.
Turn left on Oak Glen, road takes you along Chesbro reservior, very scenic and no traffic
Morgan Hill
Riding on Oak Glen goes through estate homes, lots of vineyards, oak trees, very scenic
Short steep climb followed by decent to Sycamorre Ave.
Right on Sunnyside Ave to Watsonville Rd
Fairly flay with a slight decent to Uvas Rd.
Rolling hills with long flat sections heading back to Almaden
Scenic along Uvas reservior
A few small uphills, generally flat
Late in the day rides will get a headwind in this section
Almaden
Travel through the residential areas back to the start
