Attention: Extremely steep hill going down to Chain Bridge. Take it slow. You'll need to stop at the bottom for traffic.

Wait for walk signal here. Cross bridge on upstream side.

Note worn footpath in woods from Canal Road up to the Crescent Trail. Take care crossing Canal Road.

Smooth sailing all the way to Bethesda!
