0.6km 0.3km Car and boat trailer park. Watch for moving trailers. People backing up boats to the ramp won't be watching for cyclists, they will be watching their mate waving then towards the water, Pelicans often hang around here hoping for a free feed from returning fishermen. WNW 290° 8m
1.5km 1km Ride on footpath over bridge. No need to try and turn onto Bestic St, which is a major interconnector road. WNW 281° 1m

11.5km 0.5km Canterbury Very narrow underpass under Canterbury road. Only about 50-60cm wide. Extreme caution needed. Signs warning 'cyclists dismount' have been vandalised. Certain wider bikes may not fit and you will have to backup and detour via Close St and cross Canterbury Rd. You may want to use the lights up the hill to cross the very busy Canterbury Rd.
